• How long does it take for a design to be created?
  The whole process of designing and developing your web site is completed based on how you fill in the online Quote Form and what, if any, other features you choose. Since a well developed web site is the basis for your online business, it is important that the design reflects the "look and feel" you want to project. Therefore, it could take two weeks for a simple basic site, or, it could take four months for a graphic heavy, multi-featured, multi-paged site.

• Will I get to make comments on my design/layout before it is published online?
  Of course! You will be able to view the progress of your web site every step of the way.

• Does Dundass Web Studio offer web hosting and/or promotion in addition to web design?
  Yes! Although we do not provide the web hosting ourselves, we do use and recommend the following:
  
  

  • www.Alentus.com to hold our client web sites that require ASP (and a database). You get heaps of web space--50 MB + 10 e-mail addresses - all starting at the incredible price of $9.95US per month + $15 setup fee! That's $14.95CDN + $20 setup fee.
    
    
  • www.AceOfSpace.com to hold our client web sites that do not require ASP (or a database). You get--50 MB and up to 50 e-mail addresses - all starting at the incredible price of $9.95CDN +GST per month!
    
    
  Your site will also be personally hand-submitted to top search engines, directories, and specific local directories.

• How much does it cost to have a web site designed?
  Pricing is based on the amount of time it takes to complete your web site. By that, I'm referring to the steps to developing a web site: designing several graphical layouts, developing the HTML code, developing any graphical components, developing and adding any optional components (requested by the client), testing and debugging, and once approved, your site will be ready to "go live." Then, your site will be promoted to the search engines. Therefore, check out our pricing page for our standard packages and then fill out the online quote form and we will send you an e-mail detailing the cost and approximate time of completion for your site.

• What is Dundass Web Studio's payment procedure?
  The pricing procedure is as follows: one-half of the total payment is due when your order is placed, and, the Proposal for Web Development is accepted and signed. Then, depending on the size of the project, one-quarter is due when the site's basic design and layout template is accepted and the final payment is due when the site is complete, before the site is loaded on client's server. If client does not have hosting, the consultant can arrange for it. Payment to be made by Money Order or Certified personal cheque made out to "Dundass Consulting".
